Prosser denies conspiracy but admits FaceTime call with Ramacciotti
In court documents filed with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Prosser acknowledged participating in a FaceTime video call during which Ramacciotti showed him features and apps running on a development iPhone running iOS 19 (later renamed iOS 26). However, the YouTuber firmly denied planning or joining any conspiracy to harm Apple. Prosser's defense argues that Ramacciotti voluntarily displayed the information without any solicitation from Prosser. Prosser also stated he never knew the device belonged to former Apple software engineer Ethan Lipnik and that he does not possess any further confidential Apple information.

Cupertino-based Apple filed the lawsuit in July 2025, alleging that Prosser and Ramacciotti conspired to break into Lipnik's development iPhone to access and profit from details about iOS 19, which leaked months before WWDC 2025. An anonymous tipster later alerted Apple, leading to Lipnik's termination and the legal action. Now Prosser is requesting a jury trial on all claims.
