"The way technology is built, deployed, and used is evolving faster than at any point during my tenure," she said. "Our customers' needs are shifting, the business models that serve them are shifting, and that means the work itself must transform." Coleman stressed that the eliminated roles "are not being replaced by AI," but acknowledged that "AI is changing how work gets done" and that "some daily tasks can now be automated."
