Following the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Z Fold 8, attention shifts to Samsung's next flagship lineup. According to new leaks, the South Korean company is preparing four Galaxy S27 series devices, and some camera specifications have surfaced. Details from WinFuture reveal codenames and sensors for the Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra.
Galaxy S27 and S27+ feature a 50 MP triple camera
The base and plus models will retain a three-sensor setup. Both the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ will sport a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12 MP ultrawide, and a telephoto camera of unknown resolution. This configuration keeps costs down while delivering quality shots in various conditions.

Galaxy S27 Pro introduces a 50 MP ultrawide with Sony sensor
The Galaxy S27 Pro stands out with a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera using a Sony IMX855 sensor, sized 1/2.55 inches. The telephoto camera is also 50 MP with OIS, while the front-facing camera is 16 MP with autofocus and OIS. If confirmed, OIS on the front camera could significantly improve selfies and videos in low light. As for the main camera, earlier reports suggest a 200 MP sensor, but the leak does not confirm it.
Galaxy S27 Ultra may pack dual 50 MP telephoto cameras
The Ultra model, per the leak, could feature a dual telephoto setup: one 50 MP sensor with OIS and 5x optical zoom, and a second Sony sensor identified by part names R1 and R2. The ultrawide would also be 50 MP with the Sony IMX855, while the front camera would be 16 MP with autofocus and OIS. However, the dual telephoto claim should be taken with a grain of salt most other leaks indicate a single 50 MP telephoto. Samsung may have surprises for the official launch, expected in a few months.
