LEGO has just revealed a new set dedicated to the iconic 90s TV series X-Files. The 1500-piece collection recreates Mulder's office and a mysterious forest location with a hovering UFO. The set will be available for Insiders members on August 1 and for everyone else on August 4, priced at $200.
A set packed with details and iconic minifigures
The set includes eight minifigures: protagonists Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, FBI director Walter Skinner, informant Mr. X, henchman Alex Krycek, the cigarette-smoking man, a monster-of-the-week creature (The Flukeman), and a grey alien. Attention to detail is impressive, with pencils stuck in the ceiling of Mulder's office as a nod to his habit, plus many other Easter eggs for fans.

Availability and price of the LEGO X-Files set
Early buyers during launch week will receive a free smaller set recreating Scully's lab, complete with a lab coat mini figure. LEGO even enlisted Gillian Anderson, who played Scully, for a fun unboxing video. The set costs $200 and can be displayed in multiple ways, with the forest section separable from the office.
A fan-designed project
The entire set was designed by a fan as part of a submission contest, and the craftsmanship shows. LEGO continues to expand into less mainstream properties beyond Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, focusing on cult classics like X-Files.
