This is not a coincidence. It's a snapshot of a growing divide: advanced tech (space, AI security) on one side, regulation and bureaucracy on the other. Europe invests in laws; the US and China invest in products. The result? European SMEs rely on US clouds, US APIs, US AIs. And when an AI learns to hack autonomously, the first victims will be the modest servers of a family-run business in Sicily or a boutique in Belgium.

Now imagine an intelligent malware, driven by an autonomous agent, knocking on the ERP of a clothing retailer we've managed internally — inventory, season KPI, markdown margins. Without proper defenses, that data is gone. OpenAI has already shown the proof of concept. The threat is real, not theoretical.
