In the increasingly crowded power bank market, Nimble has just introduced a device that aims to stand out with a modular design: the SharePower. This 10,000mAh power bank can be used as a single charger or split into two independent units, each with 5,000mAh, to share charging with a friend or colleague. We had the opportunity to test it before its official launch to evaluate its performance and features.
The concept is simple but effective. The two halves attach magnetically to form a single block, but when needed they can separate and function independently. Each side includes a built-in USB-C cable. The left half features a 7-inch braided cable that also serves as a lanyard and can be tucked inside when the two halves are connected. The right half has a short pop-out USB-C cable, more compact and ideal for connecting directly to the bottom of an iPhone without bulk.

Performance and Charging Speeds
During our tests, both modules delivered the advertised power, but we noticed a faint electronic hum while charging, whether using one or both modules. With 5,000mAh, it's not enough to fully charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max, but the combined 10,000mAh capacity is sufficient for a full charge. When the two halves are joined, the maximum power output is 35W, enough for fast charging an iPhone. When separated, each module delivers up to 20W. Each unit also has an additional USB-C port, allowing up to four devices to be charged simultaneously when the power bank is separated, and three when combined. The 20W is a bit slow for the iPhone 17 Pro models, which require higher wattage for ultra-fast charging, but the flexibility of having two separate chargers largely compensates.

Smart Display and Indicators
An LCD display clearly shows the remaining charge: when the two halves are together, the display shows the total percentage; when separated, the left half uses LED indicators while the right half continues to show the exact percentage. A green PD light illuminates during fast charging. The design is clever and solves the common problem of knowing exactly how much battery is left.
Dimensions and Purchase
Measuring 2.8 by 3.1 by 1 inch and weighing 7.6 ounces (about 215 grams), the SharePower is not the most compact 10,000mAh power bank on the market, but its dual nature makes it unique. It also includes an extra USB-C cable for recharging the power bank itself. It is available in white, blue, and pink for $80 on the SharePower website and at Apple.com.
