Sony has unveiled the free games lineup for PlayStation Plus in August 2026, offering subscribers three titles across very different genres. From August 4, players can claim Big Walk (PS5), Dying Light 2 Stay Human Reloaded Edition (PS5 and PS4), and Signalis (PS4). Additionally, a free DLC pack for the upcoming fighter Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls will be available starting August 6. Those who haven't claimed July's games need to do so by next Tuesday.
Big Walk a danger-free open world from the studio behind Untitled Goose Game
Big Walk is a day-one release developed by House House, the Australian team known for Untitled Goose Game. It places players in a lush open environment filled with puzzles and rough terrain, but with no real threats. The goal is to explore the great digital outdoors, alone or with friends. Players can team up to solve environmental challenges using built-in communication tools, or enjoy the scenery solo in a contemplative mode. It is a title focused on relaxation and exploration, far from action-game stereotypes.

Dying Light 2 Reloaded Edition includes all updates and DLC
On the opposite end of the open-world spectrum, Dying Light 2 Stay Human Reloaded Edition offers a tense survival horror experience. Set years after the first game, the zombie apocalypse continues, and survivors vie for power in a city that has endured the onslaught of flesh-eating monsters. Players control Aiden Caldwell, a wanderer caught between warring factions, tasked with deciding the fate of the City, recovering lost memories, and using parkour skills to survive. Venturing out after dark unleashes even greater dangers. The Reloaded Edition includes numerous gameplay overhauls, updates, and extra DLC, making it the most complete version.

Signalis a retro psychological horror for old-school fans
Completing the trio is Signalis, a homage to classic survival horror. Playing as Elster, a technician Replika searching for her lost partner, players explore claustrophobic environments, solve puzzles, and battle nightmarish creatures. The pixel art style and haunting soundtrack create a deeply unsettling atmosphere, ideal for those seeking a narrative-driven horror experience. The game is available on PS4 but can be played on PS5 via backward compatibility.
