Samsung has dropped a new teaser for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, offering a quick glimpse of the wider new form factor with the help of everyone's favorite public menace. While many brands happily drop full renders of new products, Samsung is generally more reserved. Earlier teasers largely hinted at the new wider form factor through real-world objects cut down to size. This latest one, however, is different.
The teaser shows a wider display and a thinner design
Posted to Twitter and other platforms, the teaser reveals a sliver of the actual foldable. We can see the two rear cameras, the thin design, and some adjusted button placements. Where the Galaxy Z Fold 7 had all its buttons roughly halfway down the frame, the Fold 8 pushes them up to the top corner due to the new shape.

The partnership with Spider-Man continues ahead of the Marvel film
The teaser continues Samsung's partnership with the upcoming Marvel film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", which will include plenty of Samsung product placement, including foldables and a Galaxy Z Flip used irresponsibly by Peter Parker. While recent leaks have fully shown off the new foldables from every angle, it is still nice to see something official.
