Code of ethics

The rules we set for ourselves when we write, even when they are not in our interest.

Independence

Topics, sources and judgments are chosen by the editorial team. No client, supplier or partner can decide what we write or ask us to change an article.

Conflicts of interest

Meteora Web sells services and develops its own products, such as the Zenith management software. When we write about a company we work with, one of our products or a direct competitor, we say so in the article.

Content paid for by others always carries the label "Sponsored" and does not influence judgments, comparisons or rankings. We do not accept gifts, trips or hospitality in exchange for favorable articles.

Respect for people

We criticize facts and decisions, never personal characteristics. We only publish an accusation if it is based on public and verifiable sources, and the person accused has the right of reply.

Respect for sources

We protect those who give us information in confidence. We do not publish personal data without consent or without a strong public interest, and we respect agreed embargoes.

Diverse sources

We do not stop at American outlets. We also look for European and Italian sources, because what happens in the digital world needs to be explained to those who work here.

How we are funded

The blog is supported by the work of the Meteora Web agency. It is free, with no subscriptions and no hidden paid articles.

Artificial intelligence

How we use artificial intelligence and which checks we perform is explained in our editorial standards.

Review and reports

We review this code every year. If you believe we have violated it, write to info@meteoraweb.com.
