The 120 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth gameplay. For daily use, 250 nits is comfortable at 66 percent brightness. This screen is undoubtedly the laptop's highlight.
Gaming performance with DLSS and ray tracing
We tested Cyberpunk 2077 at native 2880x1800 resolution. With High preset and DLSS enabled, we achieved 70 FPS without frame generation, and 111 FPS with 2X frame generation. With ray tracing low, average FPS was 90. Black Myth: Wukong with DLSS at 60 percent and frame generation hit 95 FPS. In competitive titles like Counter-Strike 2 and Apex Legends, performance easily exceeds 100 FPS. The RTX 5070 remains competitive thanks to DLSS, though native power is limited. The main trade-off is fan noise under load, which can be distracting.
